New Zealand went into a national level 4 lockdown in mid-August with restrictions only slightly easing for the remainder of the country, while Auckland continues to bear the brunt of level 3 restrictions. However, across the globe over 54.2% of the world’s population has received the first dose of the vaccine, with roll out’s continuing to speed up which is positive news for the global economy and financial markets.
