Investment Insights (February 2020)

Global financial markets have performed well over the last decade, particularly in 2019 with strong returns across all the options in the NZAS Retirement Fund. 2020 has so far been eventful, with the US and China trade negotiations making positive progress, and Brexit. More recently, news has been overshadowed by the recent coronavirus outbreak and global share markets have reacted negatively. The final week of February 2020 experienced the worst results since the Global Financial Crisis a decade ago (February 2010).
